Hi Katy thanks for liking the article.

Yes. Pomegranate has got many benefits if the seeds are eaten properly or juice of it is prepared in the home.

However, my recommendation is that one should avoid the juices available in tetra pack containers in the super market as it mainly contains high amount of added sugar and lots of preservatives which suppresses the beneficial properties of the natural juice.

      Hope this helps.

Pomegranate Juice was first brought to my attention a couple of years ago when my husband was hospitalized and then had to go into a rehab afterward.  His blood sugar spiked while in the hospital with his heart and later I found out this is a normal occurrence during hospitalization.  Once in the rehab center his blood sugar came back to normal but they put him on a diabetic diet and we were told about the benefits of the pomegranate juice.  I think your article here will make more people aware of the benefits of this fruit and how to prepare the juice keeping the nutrients of the seeds without waste.

    Thank you,
